Families

Families, regardless of their shape and size, are really important to us at Holy Apostles and we hope that you will find friendship and fun as we journey together.

Families are important because children thrive, grow and develop within the love and safeguarding of a family.  Within families young, old and those with caring needs are supported.  Families should be able to offer each of their members commitment, fun, love, companionship and security.

We recognise that families face new and challenging pressures.  We aim to help families flourish by offering Children’s and Youth groups, groups for Pre-school aged children and Parenting Courses and our Messy Church.

Parenting Courses

Would you like some Family Time?  We would like to invite you to “Family Time” – a parenting course.
What is Family Time Parenting Children?  It is a 6-week course which helps parents to take time out to reflect and gain inspiration from others and find a fresh vision for their family.

Who is it for?  It is for parents – it’s a simple as that!

A typical evening?  7.45pm start, a talk (on DVD) followed by dips & drinks. The evening will finish at 9.45pm.

What are people’s experience of the course?

“I feel I have been given a gift of a very full tool kit to use for the rest of my life”
“ I have found the course very supportive and enlightening”
“Brilliant, enjoyable. I thought 6 weeks would be a long time but it flew by. I would recommend this course to all parents”
“This course has given a real sense of direction for our own lives as well as the way we parent our children”

When?
