Small groups are a central part of the life of our church. We have a rich mix of groups – some support particular interests or communities (for example: carers, older members of the church, musicians) while many are homegroups of church members meeting together for study and mutual encouragement. We have groups that meet for breakfast, during the day, and in the evenings.
The homegroups are supported by study material which is usually linked to the Sunday teaching programme – take a look on the resources page if you want to see an example.
Small Group Resources
Leaders notes for our Spring teaching programme are available from the Church Office on request. For groups looking for an alternative we also hold a back catalogue of material that groups have used and liked. [Currently on a personal Google Docs page of mine, I’d suggest getting that onto a world-readable church-owned Google Doc and linking to it]
Small groups are a great way to get to know people. If you are interested in joining a group please contact one of the co-ordinators (Anna and Rob Swan, John Lawrence).
(and it would be good to have a clickable link here. I’ve asked if we can set up firstname.lastname@example.org.
