Soul Survivor 2018
Soul Survivor summer conferences are for young people. They reflect their two great passions: to go deeper in their relationship with God and to have fun!
Thousands gather each summer together for five days. Every morning and evening they’ll get together for extended times of worshiping in song, hearing teaching from the Bible and praying for one another in the power of the Holy Spirit. There will also be seminars throughout the day, covering lots of different topics such as; being a Christian at school, relationships, self-esteem, understanding the Bible, dealing with fear and anxiety, and leadership.
It’s not all teaching and ministry. There are cafes, sports, music, films and more during the afternoons and evenings. There’ll also be some surprise pop-up events during the week with details announced nearer the time. Last year these included the Silent Disco. Soul Survivor have promised some new surprises for this year!
For more information about what happens at Soul Survivor or to stay up to date with the latest news, check out their Facebook page (/SoulSurvivorUK), Instagram (@SoulSurvivorUK), YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/soulsurvivoruk), or their website (www.soulsurvivor.com/summer/week-bc).
On the last night there is a themed fancy dress celebration (last years theme was what I wanted to be when I was five). The theme this year will be confirmed nearer the time. It’s not compulsory to join in, but if you want to, you’ll need to pack a costume!
Some of the things we’ve done recently…
Spring Harvest 2018
This was a great time together up at the field with a BIG Bonfire, BBQ and of course some stunning fireworks. What’s great about this event is that it’s for the young people, their friends, and their family to come to together – we are, after all, a church family!
